India to Host the 2nd Asian Yogasana Championship in March 2025

NewDelhi, India, March 4th, 2025TheMinistry ofYouth Affairs and Sports, Government of India,incollaborationwiththeSportsAuthority ofIndia(SAI)andYogasanaBharat,is proud to announcethe2nd Asian Yogasana Championship, scheduled to be held from March29to31,2025,attheIndiraGandhiArena,NewDelhi.

ThechampionshipaimstopromoteYogasanaasasportonaninternationalplatformwhile embracing its rich heritage and deep-rooted cultural significance. This event will bring together top athletes from across Asia to showcase their skill, agility, and discipline in various competitive Yogasana categories.Theaim is to promote Yogasana as a sport globally,andcreatearoadmaptowardsinclusionintotheOlympicsasacompetitivesport.

Thechampionshipissupported byleadingorganizations,includingtheOlympicCouncilof Asia, World Yogasana, Asian Yogasana and Yogasana Indraprastha. With a vision to establishYogasanaasamainstreamglobalsport,theeventwillofferadisplayofbalance, strength, and flexibility, highlightingtheimmense potential ofthesport.
