TheRailwaysStrategicBusinessGroupofL&TConstructionhassecuredasignificantorder to construct the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Project (Phase 2A) (Contract PackageCP205)forMRTJakartathroughL&Tֱlong-termJapanesepartner,SojitzCorporation.ThisContract marksthefirstEPC Railway Systems Order for L&T inthe ASEAN region.
TheJakartaMRTPhase2AisanextensionoftheexistingJakartaMRTLineforthesection betweenBundaranHIuptoandincludingKotawithatotallengthofapprox.12.5kmand7 underground stations.
Thispackageinvolvesprocurementanddeliveryofmultiplesystemsacrossvariousdomains onadesignandbuildbasisincludingoverallsystemintegration.Theprojectscopeincludes Trackworks, Overhead Contact System, Substation System, Power Distribution System, Signaling System & Telecommunication Systems, SCADA Facility, Platform Screen Doors, and modification of the equipment installed in the existing OCC and the stations/train sets(Phase-1).
