27thÌýMarch 2025:ÌýNews18 GujaratiÌýhosted the prestigious Healthcare Awards ceremony inÌýAhmedabadÌýto honour the dedication and contributions of the stateº£½ÇÖ±²¥ medical community. The event celebrated the impact of doctors on public health, recognizing 26 senior medical professionals for their outstanding achievements in the healthcare sector.

News18 Gujarati Healthcare Awards 2025 saw the presence ofÌýShri Rushikesh Patel, Health Minister of Gujarat,Ìýas the chief guest. He presented trophies and certificates to the awardees, recognising their dedication to public health in Gujarat. He also appreciated the efforts of News18 Gujarati for offering a platform to recognise the hard work of medical professionals.

The awards were selected by a distinguished jury panel, including the editor of News18 Gujarati and senior executives from Finecure Pharmaceutical, which also served as the Official Health Partner of the event.

The evening also saw an engaging panel discussion with three senior doctors – Dr. Ashish Mehta, M.D., Consultant Neonatologist, Dr. Mahendra Narwaria – Bariatric, Gastrointestinal & Robotic Surgeon, Dr. Bharat J. Parikh, senior medical Oncologist. The panellists addressed key healthcare challenges and shared their expertise on prevalent issues such as diabetes, cancer, and viral-related diseases, offering effective strategies to combat such conditions and improve healthcare standards through innovation and best medical practices.
