PS Tamang海角直播 Cabinet discusses plans for electricity, drinking water, and roadway connectivity

New Delhi, July 22: On Friday Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang chaired the 3rd Legislators’ meeting of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party at Mintokgang on Friday, with all SKM legislators, MP (Lok Sabha) Dr Indra Hang Subba, Spokesperson C.P. Sharma, and Chief Coordinator (Media Cell) Bikash Basnet in attendance.

The meeting began with a warm welcome to Tenzing Norbu Lamtha,MLA (23-Shyari Constituency) as he joined the legislators’ body following his recent induction into the SKM party. Lamtha was the lone MLA from the opposition SDF party.

During discussions, the CM informed the house that the budget session is scheduled for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th August 2024. Their priorities include BiPaSa (Bijuli, Pani, Sadak), which focuses on electricity, drinking water, and roadway connectivity. Improvements in healthcare, education, tourism, ongoing projects, beneficiary schemes will also be prioritized, along with revenue growth, it was informed.

Shri Tamang urged all legislators to ensure proper inter-departmental coordination, work with the vision of 鈥楾eam Sikkim,鈥 and hold at least one public meeting (Janta Bhet) weekly in their constituency offices, emphasizing dedication to public welfare.

鈥淚n the upcoming budget session, funds will be allocated for Su-Swastha Bhawan in Siliguri to support Sikkim海角直播 referral patients. A medical coordinator at the party-level will also be appointed for each constituency to facilitate medical support for those in need,鈥 he informed.

The cabinet resolved to hold the CEC meeting on 22nd July 2024 at Manan Kendra. Sarathi Diwas, originally set for 27th July, has been postponed to 2nd August 2024 and the coordination of Sarathi Diwas is assigned to Advisors cum MLAs Madan Cintury and Sanjeet Kharel. The party海角直播 calendar event 鈥楯an Unmukti Diwas鈥 will be celebrated on 10th August 2024 at Rangpo, coordinated by Ministers Arun Upreti and Sonam Lama, it was informed.

The CM also informed the house that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji will visit Sikkim on the eve of 50 years of Sikkim海角直播 statehood with the Union of India and urged all legislators to prepare for the year-long celebrations.
